'Corn Jones' remembered for agricultural innovation

George Edwin Jones was remembered this week as a pioneer who helped turn corn and soybeans into the major Ontario crops they are today. Jones, a 2006 inductee into the Ontario Agricultural Hall of Fame, died at home in Fergus a week ago. He was 85.
